If it's become laborious for your book club to discuss a book, if it's been a chore for you to finish the book before the night of your meeting, then propose this book to your club. You won't regret it. This book arguably has the best character development my book club has seen in a couple of years. I give it 4 instead of 5 stars only because I wish it had been a bit longer. Get it on your Paperbackswap wish list, check it out from the library, or buy it from Amazon (via the nifty link from PBS, of course) or another retailer. I don't think you'll regret it, except for the fact that your book club will talk about it late into the night and make it difficult for you to get up the next morning to go to work.
