These games are not just for kids, and not just for the car. Some require pencil and paper, and/or things you would see in cars (i.e. license plate games), but others can be played anywhere and with a variety of folks. My husband and I often play some of the included word games while waiting in line for movie seats, airline security gates, etc. Scout troops, youth groups, keeping your brain sharp as you age, camping around the campfire -- there are lots of uses for these games. If you hate to be bored, can't read because you get carsick, or travel with folks who do, young or old, this will come in handy. Recommended.
