One of the blurbs on the back of the book says it is "A hilarious testimonial . . ." Well, it wasn't. It left me wondering what the hell was the matter with these people.

I had to purchase this book for my bookclub, so it is not a title I would normally pick up. That being said, I was prepared for it to be hilarious because one of the members raved about how funny it was. Bottom line: it was not.
I'll admit it had some amusing moments, which is why I gave it 2.5 stars, but not enough to for me to find this book a laugh-a-minute instead of just plain sad. I felt bad for these people and their experiences.
