This is a great resource whether you're a teacher or parent. The author explains in clear, non-technical language how to write clear, easy to understand, meaningful IEP goals. So often IEP goals are muddled and one isn't sure exactly what is being measured. Too often teachers think they HAVE to add the mythical 80% as a measure. This book explains how to take junk IEP goals and turn them into great IEP goals. It's a short book but well worth having when it's time for your next IEP mtg.

The companion book "From Gobbledygook to Clearly Written Annual IEP Goals" goes well with this. We used both for our IEP mtg and we got everything we wanted from the school! I can honestly say the books helped us immensely.
