This a highly loveable series. The heroine, Minnie Hamilton, though only an efficient 5 feet tall, has great character and is thoroughly delightful. She is a librarian (I wanted to be one and my daughter is one) and the assistant director. She is highly creative, thinking about plans for library programs and other things as well. And she is the bookmobile driver! She was the one that suggested it and is the one who drives it, which is why she didn't apply for the Director's job in the last book. She wants to be the bookmobile lady with Eddie the cat by her side. Or somewhere. Have you heard the saying, dogs think they are people and cats think they are God? It's pretty much true with Eddie. He has an uncanny knack for finding dead bodies, which in turn leads Minnie to investigate them and, of course, solve them. She's a very likeable person and Eddie is a very likeable cat. The others that she interacts with are very engaging and the plot is well thought out. And so is the romantic twist that comes near the end! Thank you Ms. Cass for a wonderful book!

This was a very good book in this series. Some personal stuff resolved and changes brought up to date. The mystery of "who done it", and who the person is, was not easy to solve. I didn't until the end and it was revealed, which makes for a very interesting story for me. Fun reading.
