A classic. Hart is the American queen of cozy mysteries. Annie and Max Darling solve mysteries on their Carolina island. Great cast of secondary characters.

Love the characters. Annie and Max Darling have yet another murder to solve at 4th of July.

Annie is involved in a Fourth of July festival but there are lots of disagreements from an ex-army man who can only see black and white. You really get a good idea of Broward's Rock and get acquainted with lots of the residents.
I really enjoyed this book.
Easy read, good story.
