Yard sales are an exlant way to recycle your old things and pick up some things you may want or need cheap and green.

If Any of you are in the Fallon Nevada Area there is a yard sale at 172 whitaker ln on saturday the 19 of May.

We have city wide garage sales this weekend.  At fist I was excited becuase I thought I would go shopping, but then we decided to HAVE a garage sale which is better for our pocketbook in the long run.  We don't really NEED anything right now, and if we can make a little money and clean out the house all the better!

We have a very large yard sale every summer at my mom's house (she has more traffic than I do).  It is usually me, my mom, my aunt, my cousin and my sister so lots and lots of stuff. 

The kids set up a lemonade and cookie or brownie table and they get to keep whatever they sell.  We meet lots of people and best of all...get rid of our stuff.  Our one rule is that if it doesn't sell then it must go to Goodwill or Salvation Army.  The stuff cannot go back into the house!
