While I have an interest in knitting, I'm no where near as accomplished as Ms. Parkes. Therefore, her constant comparison of life, situations, personal beliefs etc to knitting patterns and stitches became tedious. Perhaps an advanced knitter might enjoy.
I did, at least, find a new mystery author to read: Georges Simenon.

This book is a great book, especially if you are knitter. As a knitter you can definitely relate to what she has accomplished over the years.
