Based on the author's own childhood this book is interesting on several levels. First of all it is humorous, enjoyable, heart touching story. Next - it takes a good look at the problems of child immigrants to the USA. And third - the problems and how they are handled provides relevant interest for all.

A little girl From China immigrates and has a hard time fitting in. But when she begins to play baseball, the world gets a whole lot brighter.
