I enjoyed the book but it wasn't as compelling as I thought it would be. The writing is ok, reading the story through the eyes of the dad and daughter was interesting and the story was heartbreaking. However, sometimes it seemed overly drawn out and contrived....an attempt to put more drama into things than there was. I do feel for the Busbys and don't mean to be critical - just my response to their writing.

Outstanding book, Interesting points of view between Father and Daughter. I'd always wondered what happened to this family, absolute shame how they were treated.
