As you may be able to tell, this is a light-hearted book with not much good to say about the Yugo. The author loves to tell the numerous jokes about the Yugo. (Example: What do you call the passengers in a Yugo? Shock absorbers.) I would point out that the last Yugo was manufactured in November, 2008, and since then, the world economy has certainly not performed better without the Yugo to kick around. And not a word about a far worse car, the Trabant.
