Science Fiction tale by Mary Dombach. Zeera is an alien from another planet, sent to Earth, on a mission to become pregnant by a human man, or so she has been told. She's been raised to believe that her world's ways and people are superior to Earth's. But, living on Earth, and becoming a part of the culture changes Zeera in so many ways. I love this book. Zeera struggles to reconcile what she's been lead to believe, with what she learns. Zeera learns about unconditional love, passion, betrayal, and the determination of the human spirit. A beautiful, poignant story, easy to read and compelling.
