I thoroughly enjoyed this book. In addition to making me feel like I was actually on the train, the book has about 15 pages of COLOR photographs that are just wonderful.

My husband liked this book, but not enough to keep it. I think this is because his tastes are even more subject specific than mine. That means that this one was not about the Pennsy, and that is its own fault.
I haven't read it, but it has various anecdotal accounts and historical facts on the Zephyr. Good train book, especially for folk who have ridden across country. Feels like a nice travelogue.
