For Nina Askew, turning forty means freedom-from the ex-husband,freedom from their stuffy suburban home, freedom to focus on what she wants for a change. And what she wants is something she ex always vetoed- a puppy. A bouncy, adorable puppy. Instead she gets... Fred
Overweight,middle-aged, a bit smelly and obviously depressed,Fred is light years from perky. But he does manage to put Nina in the path of Alex Moore, her gorgeous,younger- by-a-decage neighbor.
Alex seems perfect- he's a sexy, seemingly sane, surprisingly single E.R. doctor-but the age gap convinces Nina that anyone but Alex would be better relationship material. But with every silver-haired stiff she dates, the more she suspects it's the young,dog-loving doc she wants to sit and stay!
They say cats have nine lives. Luky for Cat Dupree, she's got seven left.
Bounty hunter Cat Dupree first cheated death when she was thirteen. The second time left her orphaned and scarred. And the only thing that will diminish her lust for revenge is finding the man who left her for dead as she watched him murder her father. Every job she takes is an oppertunity to invadethe criminal world that hides the tattooed man who ruined her life. And she hopes to hunt him down on her current mission into the rugged deserts of Mexico, where there is no law to watch her back.
Without her knowledge, bondsman Wilson McKay is on the same job,and trailing Cat is the fastest way to find his man. He's willing to share resorces-and the reward- especially if that means getting to know the lonely woman beneath Cat's tough,take-no-prisoners exterior. Life's taught Cat that the surest way to land on her feet is to work alone, but Wilson might be the man to change her mind-when they're not compeating for jobs or ready to kill each other.
Nothing is going to go wrong. Ashley Miles has worked too hard for her independence to let some Bentley- driving hunk named Quinton Murphy interfere with her plans-or her freedom. Yes, the chemistry is phenomenal. Kind of scary, actually. But that's it. NO emotional commitments.
.....WILL
But he's SO wonderful- a woman could fall in lov... How did that happen? That wasn't part of the plan! But can she trust him? Really trust him? The man is just so mysterious. There's only on solution: put it all on the line and see what Quinton does when she tell him how she feels. And hope everything that can go wrong... won't...
There's only so much frustration a guy can handle before he gets a little nutty. For Jude Jamison, his frustration has a name___ May Price. She's everything the former Hollywood bad boy actor came to Stillbrook,Ohio, hoping to find: open, honest, lovable, and full of those luscious curvesyou don't find on stick-figure starlets-curves May dosen't seem to appreciate in herself.Every time Jude tries to get close to the skittish business woman, to take her in his arms, she thinks he's joking. Joking? Joking does not involve lots of cold-shower therapy.
Time for new tactics. If May can't respond to his sly comliments and sexy innuendos, he'll just have to spell it out for her. Jude Jamison is going to lay down the law for May Price. And after that, she'll have no delusions about how much he wants her....
The last place Catherine MacPherson ever expected to find herself was sitting on a greyhound bus, handcuffed to a surly bounty hunter, with only a suitcase of her twin sister's flashy,shrink-wrapped clothing to wear! Just two hours ago, the respectable schoolteacher was sitting quietly a home when this big macho hunk crashed through her door, mistook her for her errant Miami showgirl sister, and hauled her off in his strong arms. And no matter how sexy he is, she's furious!
Twins-ha! Sam McKade's the last person to ever fall for that line. He's finally got the gorgeous, leggy redheadjust where he wants her-and no matter what outragouse tricks she pulls,he's not letting her get away.
The problem is, she's a lot smarter-and sweeter-then he'd expected. And he's got this deep-buried tenderness she hadn't expected. And their kisses are so hot, they just might burn up...before they sort it all out.

Karen E. (Karenmarie): The Snow Bride-Debbie MacomberJenna and Reid meet when she is on a plane with him. There is a miscomunacation. Reid takes her where she needs to go. There are funny times and chaotic times. Overall a great book. Romantic events but it's not overboard.
I'm not sure what the new note book entry feture is. But here it goes. I think you're suppost to write what you thought of the book you just read.
I liked Hot and Bothered very much. I'm prety sure John's friends in the book had a story of their own. I'm just not sure which one it is. John and Victoria have chemestry coming out of their ears! It was funny and suspensful. The book was great. I think Jarrod and PJ should have a story of their own. Susan could fudge the years a little. The story could take place 10 years from now. When PJ is 23 instead of 13, 5 years age diffrence isn't that big of a deal. Overall 2 thumbs up!
