An excellent Hillerman mystery. Keeps you guessing right up to the end.

A very poor book. The information on genetics is woefully shallow. There is a huge amount of repetition, as though they were trying to fill up enough pages. And there are factual errors, such as muddling up the X and Y chromosomes.

Three excellent Hillerman stories. Full of his usual insights of the Navajo and, in one story, Zuni, culture and beliefs. And plenty of informative descriptions of the vast arid Navajo reservation.

A very good thriller, although the wind up takes about half the book. Also an interesting introduction to the Spanish island of Menorca.

A wonderful story. As usual with Hillerman, there are several different, apparently unconnected, threads that all come together most satisfactorily at the end.

An easy book to read. Pokes gentle fun at Buckingham Palace and its inmates, but the Queen comes out unscathed.

Another good mystery from Tony Hillerman.
