Joe writes in a colorful entertaining manner and has a way of reminding me to have compassion for my knucklehead relatives. He was wise and an excellent writer. I will miss him. This book was great, I will probably keep it so my kids can get a clue as to how we came here.

This book made me angry and then sad. I cried. The writing was wonderful, and the story put me in the shoes of the characters. I wanted to read more and was sorry to reach the end of the book.
