A series of curated essays, some whimsical, others curious, but all thoughtful, about the impact of objects on our lives. Reading through these has helped me to step back and consider more about the way I interact with the the tools I use everyday and the stuff of nature and home, but usually take for granted.

I didn't realize this was the older edition (my fault for not reading the publishing date), NOT the 3rd edition shown in the picture. I have no issue with the swapper, but the system has the wrong cover image showing.

Very useful, fairly broad scope projects big and small. Detailed recipes and directions. Mostly I like to take it out to be inspired to try something. Occasionally use it for reference.

I re-read this book for the much needed encouragement it is to my life calling of raising my family. Every mom should have a copy.
