My favorite Dan Brown book. Yes, even better than DaVinci Code, in my opinion. Very suspenseful read.

Emma has always been the big sister looking after her younger sister Katy. Now Katy has bought a B&B on Ebay somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Once they are just getting settled, along comes Katy's ex-husband and mother-in-law.
This book is a good reflection on the people and interactions in a small town. The characters are well-developed in this novel. By the end you feel as if you know each of them. I enjoyed this book by Ms. Morsi, although some of the plot was a bit predictable.

This is the first cozy in the series by Isis Crawford. While catering the event of the year, the guest of honor dies at the event. This leaves Libby and her quite opposite sister bumbling along trying to clear their best friend.
I recommend this book if you are looking for a light read mystery. I look forward to the next in the series.

This is the 2nd in the series featuring sisters Bernie and Libby Simmons. They are catering the wedding of the year, when they stumble across another murder. With her from their ex-police chief father, they are busy hunting down the killer.
This is a wonderful sequel to A Catered Murder. The relationship between the sisters and their father is more developed in this book. The witty dialog between the two sisters will sure to crack a smile or two. If you are looking for a fun, light cozy mystery -- this is the one. It is a quick read.

When I first got this book, I was looking more for a legal thriller. What I got was an excellent novel which explored the ethics of a lawyer deciding between doing the right thing and the one that would advance his career.
I truly enjoyed the book. The characters were well developed and the storyline was very believable. I am looking forward to the the next book by this author.

Everyone worth Knowing is pretty much the same story as a Devil Wear Prada -- just mix up the characters a bit and change the job. Nonetheless, it did keep my attention and was a good read.

Must have for any serious genealogist. Keep this near the PC as you do your work. The one disadvantage -- it was written before many of the electronic sources.

This is the weakest book of the series. Bring back the tension between Joe and Ranger.

Hunter is back. After a disappointing 3rd book in the series (Pasta Imperfect), Hunter returns to the style of the previous two. This book is a light, enjoyable read. Plus it is fun due to the exotic locations.

Great first book by Michael Lawson. Joe DeMarco is in over his head while being asked to investigate the assaination attempt of the President. His investigation has him face to face with Secret Service Director Patrick Donnely. The investigation goes back more than 40 years to piece together the crime of today. The twists and turns kept me interested through the pages.
I discovered this author by accident and can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Although I love the Lincoln Rhyme series, this is one of Jeffery Deaver's better books. It is suspenseful until the very end. If you enjoy any of Deaver's other books, you will thouroughly enjoy this one. Make sure you have time to read -- once you get past halfway in the book, you will not be able to put it down.

This is a fun cozy mystery. Meg Lanslow is balancing being the maid of honor for three weddings over the summer. But when murder and close calls keep happening, she becomes a detective between dress fittings, floral appointments and other wedding duties. You will love her quirky family.
Great first book to the series. This is a fun, light read.
