It was a fascinating book; well-written and from the unique perspective of a young girl having lived through poverty and homelessness, yet raised by very well-educated parents. She shared her observations as a child of poverty and homelessness without casting judgements or sharing her feelings at the time. A very good read--I would recommend it to anyone.

Ninety Days of God's Goodness: Daily Reflections That Shine Light on Personal Darkness
Review Date: 2/16/2014

This is a wonderful well-thought-out book highlighting God's lovingkindness and goodness towards us. The catch is that God's goodness doesn't always look like what we were expecting. And this book uses specific scripture passages (90 of them) to show different ways that God's goodness looks like. It is transforming my mind to recognize God at work around me in a powerful way, rather than waiting for and expecting Him to "be good" in the way my human mind expects Him to. Excellent choice of scripture that is bringing my relationship with God to a new level.

A very fun read with a lot of word play and deeper meanings that constantly made me pause, consider, and smile. It was a very engaging, yet simple, book, with a lot to think about.

I started reading the book, and although reviews gave it high ratings, I couldn't get past the crude language and quit reading it.
