Disjointed and a little hard to follow. Weak on technology despite lots of opportunities.

I enjoyed this story although I thought that it dragged in places. It ight have been a great story of 500 pages instead of over 700.

This was a great book! I read it many years ago and I still find myself referring to it when I discuss evolution or particularly reverse evolution.

I enjoyed this book. It was a little preachy I thought but the basis was good solid sci-fi.

The book reads like Cantebury Tales with six travellers each telling their story. The individual stories are very interesting. I'm looking forward to reading the second book in the series "The Fall of Hyperion"

I found this book a little weak. Definitely not a work of fine literature.
