Francine Rivers never fails to bring forward a poignant story. In todays times of failing churches and political correctness she takes us into what can happen within a church community.

As in all of the Maisie Dobbs books, this one did not fail to amuse, interest and enlighten me. I love the humor and the interesting way that Ms. Winspear takes me to a post war England.

Awesome book, great picture of African life. If you like the book you will love the movie which was an HBO series a few years ago. Oh and by the way try some bush tea (robioos tea)

Interesting story with lots of twists. Only downside is keeping up with the time sequence as it flips from the war in Spain in the late 30's to 2001. I did not know much about this war in Spain and it was eye opening.

Great insight into the early days after Jerusalem fell in 60 AD and the spread of Christianity. Gladitors picture shows the cruelty of the Romans.
