This SK book was okay. It is quite haunting, but I could see the ending coming a mile away. 6/10

I really enjoyed this book. I love Stephen King, and this one is vintage. The world falls apart, a cross country trip ensues, and of course we end up in Maine. Excellent read.

This book surprised me. Of course I know nothing about Anderson Cooper other than what I see on television, but this book is decidedly darker than I expected. Cooper reviews many of his travels into horrible parts of the world, along with delving into the suicide of his brother. I think a proper term for this book might be haunting.

A great story of survival against great odds. A Vietnam Vet describes how he battled catastrophic injuries after stepping on a mine during the war. He becomes a man who fights for himself and many of the vets whose rights he believed weren't being looked out for.

I loved this book. I read it in about 3 days. If you are a casual fan of college basketball you will enjoy the insiders view of this interesting group of players, coaches, and the whole lifestyle of the college game. To me the college game is full of spirit, isn't as commercialized, and is more "real". This book captures that feeling very well. I recommend it highly.
