This book has a good review of the problems and the failures of aid to Africa. As I read it, unfortunately, all of the problems and the failures still apply 20 years later. It made me want to follow up with a more recent book on the state of Africa today and how today's relief organizations work. The examples and text were clear and interesting for a subject I had not read about before.
