This book always points to Christ and how he worked in the Old Testament. Shows how he was deeply involved with Israel before His incarnation.

This is the dramatic story of how God set in motion events that knit Joanne and the Balangao people together in a spiritual battle that changed them forever. For centuries the Balangaos had worshipped the capricious and hard-to-please spirits who made relentless demands for sacrifices. They knew the spirits had power...dod God have power? You will be inspired and challenges by the simple obedience of this people transformed by the power of the Word.

The copy that I have has a different cover as it is a 1987 copy and is a bit yellowed. It is in excellent condition, having been read only once!

Typical Dean Koontz.....great! As always, the characters begin to become "people" and draw you in to their world and situation. This author is one of few who get this right every time without becoming the same story, different names.

Though all of my numbers match, my cover is different from that posted.
In this brilliant collection of twenty-two stories, Stephen King takes readers down paths that only he could imagine....A supermarket becomes the place where humanity makes its last stand against unholy destruction...a trip to the attic turns into a journey to hell...a woman driver finds a very scary shortcut to paradise...and idyllic lake that could be the home of bottomless evil...and a desert island is the scene of the most terrifying struggle for survival ever waged.
