So far, IMO, this is the BEST GhostWalker story yet! I loved how it got right to the point; the story kept moving along and didn't drag and stayed exciting. The chapters weren't as long as the others, which made it nice to read before bed. HOWEVER, the book was FILLED with grammatical errors! I was very surprised that this still happens, and found it super annoying. Maybe it was just my copy? And, I'm also an editor/copywriter by trade, so perhaps I am more sensitive to that than most people. In conclusion, aside from the errors, this book is better than the previous three! Hopefully, the series stays on this path :)

Although the beginning was slightly difficult to believe (how excruciatingly naive the female character was written!), it did get better. I'm not a fan of menage stories, but the story did have an interesting twist at the end. Predictable, but then again, who's really reading this for the actual story???

The first two stories were the best. The last two, well, had trouble holding my attention.

Larissa Ione is my new fave author. She had me at the first Daemonica novel. If you like love stories with blood and violence, as well as strong women characters, then you need to start reading this series! :)

I actually read this book first, not realizing it was part of a series! But, after I read it, I loked it enough to go back and read the first book. I really liked the character development of Nicolas and Dahlia. I normally like supernatural stories, but the "enhanced" characters also appealed to me.

I think the series keeps getting better. This book had A LOT of action, and it wasn't hard to keep up with the story. My biggest pet peeve with this author, though, is when she uses the phrase "could care less," which is INCORRECT! I'm an English major and copyeditor, though, so I'm probably a little more sensitive than the average person. The correct phrase is he/she/I COULD NOT CARE LESS...which actually means you couldn't care less. Anyway, this story held my interest the entire book, and I think the ending was perfect. Hopefully the rest of the series keeps up the adrenaline!

As always, Ione does not disappoint. I can never put any of her books down, especially this series. I love how each book focuses on a certain set of characters, but she somehow incorporates ALL her characters and brings them back into each book. Can't wait to start the next one!

I actually read the second book first, which made me want to go back to the beginning. I could've done without this one. Lily's and Ryland's characters were just annoying to me. She's a whiner and a cryer. I'm hoping to see less of them throughout the series.

Not the best Ghostwalker book...although I liked Trap's character in book 11, he seemed to evolve into a different person in 12. I could tell the author tried to be a little more creative with her love scenes in this book, but a lot of the language is very repetitive throughout all the Ghostwalker books (not sure about her other series, since I have not read them).

All I can say about this book is: HOLY SH*T. I mean, I love good horror, I do. And I've never gotten squeamish while READING, but this story left me gasping for breath at times! And, while I love to read before going to bed, after two nights of freakishly vivid and horrifying nightmares, I had to find an alternative story to put me into dreamland. If you scare easily, and still want to attempt to read this story, then I suggest you read it in broad daylight. Otherwise, happy reading, and sweet dreams!

SUPER HOTTT! I'm not a prude, but this book was a little too steamy for me...had me squirming in my seat! I'm not a big fan of menage stories, so this one went a tad beyond my comfort zone. But oh well, a little anal never hurt anyone, right???
