I enjoyed book two in the series more than book one because I felt I had a better sense of who the characters were. I'm not sure if that is because I already had knowledge of them from Book 1 or because there was better character development in Book 2, but either way, I will definitely be buying book 3.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, and am glad there are others in the series. Good character development, interesting plot. I'll be getting the rest of the series for sure.

I'm currently reading book 4 of the series, and so far, Grave Consequences is my least favorite. I think that partially has to do with it not taking place in New England, like the others I've read so far, but rather, in Great Britain. Being from New England myself, I like the familiarity of reading books that take place in a locale that is familiar to me, even though the names and places are fictiional, for the most part. That said, I did enjoy the book and have now bought all 6 in the series.

I enjoy reading nearly any kind of quilt fiction, so I enjoyed reading this as well. However, the writing, the plot lines, the character development all seemed rather simplistic and formulaic. It isn't necessarily a book that I would recommend to a friend. I did like the way the stories were all intertwined, but by the 4th story, the author really had to stretch to make it work.

This was the kind of cozy that I enjoy - interesting, diverse and believable characters, a real sense of place, and a combination of two of my loves, sewing and books. I am now hoping to add the rest of the series to my personal library.
