A young girl comes of age in a life style that no lnger exists. Great sense of post WWII Anglo-Irish families and their struggle to maintain the properties and life they once knew. Loved the characters esp Molly and Belinda.

what fun turns and twists thru out kept me on the edge of my seat.
the medieval settings was done in a way that was believable; you could almost see the people and events-what a exciting movie this would make-maybe a mini series so you would not miss anything!!!

I really liked the diary format. The twist about 3/4 of the way thru jolted my interest again. Good character developement. Think it would be good for a book club discussion
