Oh, man, can this man write. I just read anything with his name and pass it on to my sister Fast-addict.

This is one of my favorite and most hilarious Georgette Heyer romances. I read it at least once a year just for the joy of laughing out loud over a beloved cast of nutcase characters. I rate it 5 stars!---MLC

This is a very unusual plot--the hero is hit by lightning and his wife turns up dead. Did he kill her or not--he doesn't remember. Don't read this in strong air conditioning--it will chill you from inside.

LH is an author I don't even question if her name is on the book. I just grab it and enjoy. Plus I keep her books--this one is a duplicate I can share.

This is one of my favorite GH books. I reread my copy once a year--it is hilarious, reminds me of Victor/Victoria with Julie Andrews & James Garner. Don't miss this one!

I've read this 3 times--and I may read it again if no one grabs it fast. It is terrific and fascinating and haunting and needs a rainy day reading to really shiver you up!

Brand new author to me. Just finished her second book as well as soon as the library got it in. I love to laugh with her characters. I look forward to her next. So will you.

I just started this series because my parents got hooked. After one page I was too. I've read the second book and am starting on my third by this author. If you want to live in Africa for a couple days and get fascinated by the warmth and pride of "Precious" the No. 1 Lady detective of Botswana--this is a gift to yourself.

From the back cover: Here is one of the greatest adventure fantasies of all time, a story-telling classic that will be read and reread for generation. In the tradition of Tolkein, LeGuin, and all great writers of the imagination, the authors have opened up the doors to a whole new world. . . .

Anything LH writes has depth of character that grabs the heart. The orphaned Roanna will draw you into her heartbreak from the minute you begin reading. I have reread this book twice in several years.
