I didn't care much for this book. I thought there was a lot of the author's opinions in the book. She kept trying to analyze why Priscilla did the things she did. I had a hard time getting into the book.

This is a great book for anyone traveling to this area that hasn't been before. Very helpful with helping you decide what area to stay in, prices, restaurants, etc.

This book was very interesting. There are a lot out there about the Amish, but I hadn't read any about the Shakers. I really enjoyed it.
