I'll be honest, I think this book is really dumb for a Sesame Street book, which is why I'm trying to get it out of my house. However, my three-year old really enjoyed this book, and after only reading it a few times out loud, could quote most of the lines. If your kid likes Bert & Ernie, they'll like this book, you just might get sick of reading it to them :-)

I absolutely love this book (the only reason I'm getting rid of it is because I upgraded to a hardbook). It's an easy book to relate to, and the characters seem very real. The movie was a pretty good adaptation - I only like the book a smidge more than the movie (simply because it has more detail). I'm a total shoe fanatic, and Rose's shoe collection is to die for...even if it's just on paper.
