What a snooze-fest. I have the audio version with 11 CDs. I got through the first one and gave up. For perspective, this is the first audio book, out of well over 100 I've consumed, that I could not finish. I assume that Mr. Gibson gets paid by the word. I give it one star.

I could even get halfway through. I should have learned my lesson from another "Heat" book. This is just too plodding FOR MY TASTES. I'm done with Richard Castle. FYI, I've only left 2 bad reviews out of approx 250 mystery / thrillers read.

Pee-you. I can't believe a man wrote this, unless the protagonist is meant to have a very feminine side. Frankly, the dialogue ... the story ... the premise ... none of it rings true. For only the 3rd time in my life, I'm not going to finish a fiction book.

If you grind through the extremely improbable beginning, it's gets interesting with great twists.
