This is book 2 of the trilogy that should have ended with the 1st book. Nearly half of this book was spent in the mind of the killer.

Typical in the Shelter Bay series. The main story seemed to drag a little long, the secondary story ended too abrubtly with no explanation.

The book was too long and the characters were not believable.
