The book wasn't uninteresting. I did however find she left out more than she put in. For instance we never did find out the hero's true identity or his relationship to the ever present Ana. We were left with a multitude of unanswered questions.

I absolutely hated this book. The entire cast of characters acted like vindictive children all the way through it. There was no love story. The principles spent the whole book deliberately trying to hurt, insult and alienate each other and the German language inserts didn't help. No matter their reasons for their actions, it was way too much animosity for any one supposed to be love story.

I have read all the Black Dagger books and thoroughly enjoyed every one of them, This series however had elements that turned me completely off. Devina's actions throughout the series were more in tune with a horror story than a romance and a little over the top for me. The rest of the format was good and enjoyable, but the author needs to tone down some on Devina's deviousness.

I don't normally like this type of subject matter, but this was very good. Three tissue book.

I was not impressed with this book. There was entirely too much folklore and history and very little in the way of romance, which is why we read this type of book. The majority of the book centered around the Isle of Skye and its residents instead of the hero and heroine.

This book was tooooo long, tooooo many unnecessary words and descriptions, and over written. Sorry I didn't even finish it.

This is my favorite writer. I absolutely loved this book. I am most impressed by her ability to make you laugh and cry at the same time.
