This is a pretty good book. It just takes some of Aesop's fables and shortens them. My children did like this book, but they had several of the stories in some of their other books already. All the stories are about values and right and wrong.

As a big Disney fan, I didn't really have any large expectations for this book. I thought it would be a fun mix of astrology and Disney. The graphics are cute, the layout of the book is cute, and overall it is just cute. If you are looking for any type of real substance though, this is the wrong book. Most of the birth date descriptions I looked up were completely wrong for the person I knew born on that specific day. It was about 2 out of 8 people sounded correct when reading the descriptions. If you are a huge Disney fan, I would recommend this book just because it is almost an encyclopedia of the characters and has great pictures. If you are not, I would not recommend it.

I had heard a lot of good things about this book series, so I finally decided to give it a try. I have to say that I loved it. The storyline is excellently written and so is the character development. Everything about this book feels completely real. It was a great read and I can't wait to read the rest of them.

This series started out absolutely amazing. I loved every book until this one. I don't want to put in any spoilers, but I found it incredibly tedious and predictable. I could guess everything that was going to happen before it did. The characters used to be well written and rounded, but it really felt like Jean M. Auel dropped the ball on this one. Lengthy descriptions of the caves cover about half of the books and seem to drag on endlessly. It felt like I was reading a bad romance novel in many parts. If you're a fan, prepare yourself for disappointment because this one just wasn't as good as the others.

This book actually reminded me of The Once And Future King. The book is seperated into different times of Elminster's life as he is growing from a sheperd boy into a mage. Each section seemed like Elminster had to learn something about life before he could transition into the next section of his life. It was nice to see the character of Elminster grow and adapt to the different situations thrown at him, but most of the other characters are forgettable. Over all it was a good read.

My mother mailed me the first few books of this series a few years ago because she loved them so much. They are incredibly addictive to read. The character and story development are excellent. Even though a lot of people say these are "romance" novels, there is just so much more to this book similar to how there was more to the series of The Clan of the Cave Bear. Romance is a rather part of the entire story arc for the series, but don't let that detour you from reading them. Diana Gabaldon has done a wonderful job of capturing the historical era that her heroine ends up getting transported to. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good escape from everyday life.

I am a big fan of Michael Crichton's novels. This is another really good one. I didn't want to put it down. I really like the fact that he goes in depth to research the science behind all of his novels even if he uses it as a source for fiction. It really makes his novels seem like they could be possible. This one is about a company researching nano-technology using genetics that end up creating "smart" robots. They end up evolving just like any other creature. This put pulled me into it's world and I was so engrossed in the story that I had to keep reading it.

I was unsure of what to expect when I started reading this compilation of the trilogy. I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. I have been playing games from the Warcraft series for years and it immediately puts you into the world of Azeroth.

It was a very fun set of novels to read and gave a lot of good background information for many of the characters that I have become familiar with from playing the games. The story itself is mainly about how things come to pass in Kalimdor a long time ago and how the characters Malfurion Stormrage, Illidan Stormrage, and Tyrande Whisperwind grow from childhood friends into who we know in the games. It also has to do with what happens to the dragon flights and the creation of Deathwing from the dragon, Neltharion. I really enjoyed reading it and highly recommend it to anyone who likes to play Warcraft games.
