Having just returned from Europe and Italy, in particular, I checked out this beautiful coffee table book to see where I might want to visit when I plan my next journey there. The history and description of each of the chosen town or village are simply delectable! The author has done extensive research giving wonderful details and the photographs are breathtaking. Anyone who has ever wanted to visit Italy or even those who have, will find this book a treasure to keep and read over and over!

Anyone who has ever entertained the idea of packing up and moving to Tuscany, or even just visiting the region will enjoy this light-hearted memoir of a former(?)Hollywood screenwriter. I love the area, so it struck a chord with me. If you have read and enjoyed Under the Tuscan Sun or A Year in Provence, you will definitely enjoy this wonderful tale, also. You won't be able to put it down!

Having just visited the Amalfi Coast last year, this book was a wonderful reminder of all the beautiful places in Italy. I have now read the complete set and readers will not be disappointed in the trilogy. All the characters are unique and add to the complex and intriguing storyline. If you love Nora Roberts, you will love this trilogy, beginning with this first book.
