Nicholas Culpeper (1616-1654) was a very famous astrologer-physician of the early 17th century. The book contains comprehensive description of nearly all herbs, with their medicinal properties, and instructions for making up the herbal remedies. The many coloured illustrations enable one to recognise the herbs at a glance. Printed in London.

Mr. Berlinski does an excellent job of debunking the argument given by atheistic and agnostic scientists and their supporters that Darwinism and science have proven the Bible and the Judeo-Christian view to be outdated and obsolete. And he does it with cleverness and humor. I highly recommend this book to anyone on either side of the issue.
