Poor knockoff of Laurell K. Hamiltons Fae series, no real plot, just a stranger falling in love with the main character for no reason, getting kidnapped to the fairy realm for no reason, and chased around for equally unexplained reasons by characters that had no explained background for wanting to chase her

Janet Evanovich is a great writer, who writes hilarious novels filled with equal parts romance and sex, humor and fun, and plenty of mayhem, (the eventual death of at least one automobile per novel just a small slice of that humorous mayhem) as her main character, the infamous bounty hunter Stephanie Plum, tries to scrape her screwball life in to order and catch the bad guys, whilst handling the antics of her crazy grandma, ex-hooker side kick Lula, and several other wild characters that flock to Stephanie like a magnet... and those are just her friends and family... the bad guys are a whole different sort of crazy all together. You will enjoy Evanovich's murder mystery plots, but I ensure that the humor and sexual tension in her stories will keep you begging for more!

Kelley Armstrong is a great writer, who writes adventuresome novels filled with equal parts romance and sex, humor and fun, and magic and mayhem, winding several storylines together in her Women of the Otherworld novels, dealing with witches, werewolves, and demons. I enjoyed them enough when I read them for the first time, that this request for her books was actually a second go around, because I wanted to read them again, and add them to my own private stash of books. I highly recommend them to all magic lovers out there.

I give this book a 0... it was just stupid... Looking at the cover one could expect the book to be ridiculous, and good for laughs, such as the characters in Piers Anthony's XANTH novels promote, but this book lacked any sort of real foundation, combining too many different mythological scenarios together, and as such, lost focus real quick. It could have still been ridiculous and enjoyable, but it never managed to get it together.
