Maybe the best book ever written by a dog? LOL! I think what made Enzo's character so poignant is that he experienced the frustration so common for many of us as observers unable to control the external events in our lives.

Bring up a lot of good questions about modern-day marriage. Tradition is just laziness after all. People have the options to follow their values and use theri creativity today. The rules are changing. I woul dimagine that a lot of people can relate to this story and how quickly a marriage can disentigrate.

Not quite what I expected, but a good narrative of the current middle-class job search.

It is nice to hear why and how The Body Shop was founded and what was attributed to its success. I have an entirely different perspective on the store now.

I am not normally a big fan of "star" autobiographies, but I really enjoyed Anne's story. She is an intriguing individual.

Fascinating book about the World's fair era of the city. (Read Sinclair's Jungle prior to it for an idea of what the city was like when Fair planning began.) Excellent research tied into a nice flowing story. Make you want to head right over to the site and take a closer look at Chicago's layout and modern architecture.

A great read and nice view into the time period. Teen age years can be so emotional, especially for those pressured to follow a well formed moral conscience. Our heroine is no exception. What a fabulous plot and ending.
