I honestly thought that my book was missing the last chapter. I was very disappointed in a story that started out good, but left me hanging, and not in a good way.

I couldn't finish this one. Almost halfway through, it just wasn't doing it for me. The story was boring to me. I wasn't getting the point. I decided that there are too many books out there that I will enjoy spending my time reading. On the shelf it goes.

Good story pulling at my heart strings once again, as do all of the Kristin Hannah books I've read.

The Medical Examiner: A Women's Murder Club Story (BookShots)

Although I prefer stories with a little more meat to them, this one was a good shorter mystery; I travel a lot and this was the perfect length (2 CDs only) for a long car trip with my husband.
Love the characters.

Good story, easy and fast read. Interesting insight into life as a slave in the 1800s.
