This book is great! Simplistic, but well thought out scenes. Great coffee table book. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite book!
Be prepared to startle your children, your pets, people next to you on the bus, etc. with audible snorts and unsuccesfully muted laughter while reading this. This is a laugh-out-loud adventure into a one-man revolution in Middle America that won't be forgotten. You WILL read funny passages in other books that will remind you that you want to read this again and again.

I remember Hank as the voice of the Giants in the 80's. I assumed this book would be basically stories from his broadcasting days, which would have been just fine, however this book is much more than that. The stories relayed in this book are more about friendships & life than about specific sports; his sports knowledge and career provides the perfect vehicle to tell his stories. Highly recommended for East & West coast sports fans, and anyone whom is looking for a intelligent, common-man's insight into the good things in life & the good people he has encountered along the way, told through the voice of the Giants.
