I found this book to be very hard to read. Not because it is written in a way that is hard to understand, because it is written very simply, but because of the layout. I thought the book was written in the form of poetry (as it had been described to me by my sister), but it is indeed just broken up and laid out very strangely. I read it, and enjoyed the story line, but i could not get over how odd it was presented. If you don't mind reading a few words, then finishing the sentence on the other side of the page, or down a few rows than you may enjoy Crank. But if you like structure and format, this book may be irritating.

This book is perfect for my 8 month old daughter. If she is fussy i can quickly distract her with a short rhym. It has many of my childhood favorites as well!

Very cute about a childs dog as he goes for an adventure across the world, but then comes home. Intended for slightly older children since it is quite a bit of writting, but over all a good read for the little ones!!

This book was so much more than the typical memoir of an abused child. It showed her strength and weakness' in the 20+ years after the horrific nights and her journey from one place to another to find out who she is and where she belongs. I read it start to finish in a few days and was caught up in it the entire time.

I found this book compelling and deeply sad all at the same time. Well worth the read, especially if you have dealt with anorexia/bulimia/purging in your life.
