Way better than the movie, but in the end really not my style.

The Dark Tower series by Stephen King is my second favorite fantasy series of all time, second only to Tolkien's Lord Of The Rings.

Great book overall, loved the magic aspect. Didn't care too much for the many footnotes. I thought the book continued on beyond what I thought was a logical ending.

Fantasy with a comic book flair. I love the imagination and imagery Gaiman conjures with his writing.

If you liked Starship Troopers or Ender's Game you'll like this book. Fast paced, easy to read and fun.

Great Sci-Fi, can't wait to read the next one. Space opera like with a bit more depth.

If you like Dean Koontz the you'll like this, but personally I've read enough of Kootnz to not like the formulaic approach he has. You quickly get to a point of "read one, read'em all".

Now, one of my favorite SF books. Great characters, in fact after the beginning and until near the end it's a lot about the lives of the three main characters. The great thing was that the simple premise at the beginning grew over time and creates an ending with some truly amazing and thought provoking ideas.
