Another great book by Catherine Anderson. This story in based back in the mid 1800's in Colorado. It is a story of a Quaker girl who is the sole surviver of an attack on the wagon train she is in as her Quaker Community leave one settlement to start a new settlement in Santa Fe. Although it is a love story, there is also a mystery to the story as well. Great read and wonderful story of friendship and honesty from the man who finds, rescues, and protects her through the journey of finding her Quaker Community. A great western read.

I gave this a 4 star rating as there are no photos with the recipes. However, the recipes I have tried and others included in the book have been and sound very yummy.
I certainly would not hesitate to get another copy of this cookbook and give it to family to use so I do not have to keep coppying the recipes I have made and shared.

Quick story book for a young child. It is made of hard cover so it would not be damaged easierly by little hands. Nice big pictures of boats and the cover is in the shape of a tugboat in bright colors.
