Cute story with some real meat and emotion to it. Not just "brain candy" but addresses the emotional aspect of a mother who gives up her child for adoption, and the feelings of the adopted child searching for the birth mother. Good read!

I loved this book when I read it as a girl. I had to get it from paperback swap again to read it. It was just as good as I remember. I love the mystery and the interesting characters!

I really liked this book. The heroine was strong and didn't rely on the hero to defend her. It was a good read!

I got half way through this book and realized I read it several years ago. That being said, I enjoyed it so much, I finished the book again. I remember enjoying it the first time as well. The characters are likable and you root for them through every adversary they face.

Loved it! Interesting read! Gives a good mix of historical background on the Salem Witch Trials, and a modern mystery.

I loved this book! So many times, a plot is mediocre and so predictable. This book was entertaining and kept my attention the whole time!

I know there are some negative reviews of this book because it offers a critique of the Mormon religion, but for those of us who are not Mormons, I found the book informative and interesting. As with most faiths, the heroine struggles with disillusionment due to tragedy. The plot is interesting and the heroine is genuine and real. I really liked it!
