This is a peek inside the lives of people who "live poor" and live differently than most of our experiences.
I read the book for the first time many years ago and it rocked me back on my heels. Very powerful portrayal of a clan with minimal education and low job skills.

Powerful autobiography is a must read if you are curious about the plight of women in other cultures.
Hard to believe there are still places in this world where women are considered of no worth at all.

Easy breezy enjoyable read. I wanted to find out how Ms. Godfrey-June got into the business, and this book explains it.

And I thought she was probably just a vapid rich girl- Tori is so much more than that.
Thoroughly enjoyable read!

What a book!
Written from the heart, Mr. Lawford pulls no punches as he describes life as a Kennedy cousin, his pride and the pressure of being part of the family, and his descent into drugs and alcoholism.
