Quirky, fun characters and an entertaining plot line. Enjoyable read.

Ashes in the Wind is one of the earliest Civil War romances, and as a thirty year old novel it does not have the same snappy dialog and page-turning plots that newer titles have. However, the characters are survivors who fight for their dreams and love in spite of past pain. For the age of the novel, the plot is intricate and complex.

Fun light-hearted romance. Two unlikely characters brought together by fate in a "save-the-country" spy plot.

Fun, page-turning read that is funny, poignant and sweet all in one package. The first book of the Chicago Stars series by SEP is a first-class novel.

Vintage Diana Blayne/Diana Palmer from the 80's. Alpha male runs rough-shod over the heroine all for her own good. However these two characters find true love and make the most of their opportunities.

What a fun, heart-warming holiday story! Two kids, a single mom and a grouchy Scrooge of a truck driver trek across the country over the Christmas holiday and find Santa, love and family acceptance. Well worth the read.

Enjoyable read. Classic Krentz. A keeper I've reread.

A fun read even though a bit dated (1983), the characters are realistic and likeable. The hero is a classic alpha male and respresentative of the 80's, and the heroine helps him learn to love while overcoming her own hang-ups.
