This is a cute little book. We used to borrow it from the library all the time (my oldest son loved it) then when we had our "second" family, we borrowed it again. It was just as cute as I remembered. Now, we own it. I'm thinking our Grandchildren (Lord willing...), will like it too.

This is a nice little story. (Good to read during those cold/snowy days...)

Dick, Jane and Sally enjoying the new fallen snow, and just like ALL kids...can't wait until they are out in it.

We get to watch them as they are in and out most of the day. While in, they bake cookies with Mother. And then, true to the goodness of these old time stories...they share them with others. Showing thoughtfulness, kindness, and honor.

My children and I enjoy this book. We've read it several times. The pictures are awesome to look at (a feast for the eyes) and the story is pure and good. A GOOD book!

AWESOME! Just too cute!! We love Western things and very much enjoy Cowboy way. This was a fun book to read the first time and we have read it several times since. I think we will take it to the Library and have a cover put on it so it will last. (Grandchildren...maybe...is what I'm thinking...)

We love these books. Those wonderful pictures, depicting the innocent play of children. Relationships between the children and their Mother and Father. We enjoy looking through all the pages and then going back to see what the story was about. My son, doesn't really care to read, and I think these books help his confidence in being able to do so. And he really likes the pictures too! (Sometimes we have to cover them with a piece of paper so he will concentrate on the words.)

Not a very good book. (Wish I wouldn't have gotten it...!) I had such high hopes that this would be like a lot of books that come with a "Western" slant to them. There were a few cute wordings but then the author went and RUINED the book my having the little girl say bad words. (Page 11. "She howled louder then ten thousand coyotes. And Dusty Locks said a very bad word.") WHY have that in there??!!! In a children's book...!! The author made her a mean, awful, ornery little girl, she could have done better by the book and just made her a cute/ornery little girl. Those children can still be fun to be around. This little girl...you wouldn't want your children to be around. Not a very good book.

This has been the BEST book I have read (so far) on church conflict. It is excellent!! I've went through it three times. Reading it only, the first time, going through it again and underlining, and then the third time I made notes. It SO spoke of what the Church is going through! Much of it our OWN doing...because we don't do anything about it (hoping it will "go away"). It doesn't. It gets worse. It always does. And how sad, that we don't look on the "Bride of Christ", as something that is holy, and to be kept pure. Rather, we treat her of little value for the sake of "not offending" anyone. And then wonder why folks don't want to come, or why others leave (often with a bad taste in their mouth). And WE do that...by not obeying God's Word...and not doing what we SHOULD. How foolish we are to think that WE know better, than God and what His word commmands. This is our sin and shame. It is an excellent book!

Good little book. Reminding us about the importance Grandparents can play in the life of our children. A little bit sad, but a good book. We enjoyed it.
