it had a few slow moments, but i loved this classic. the movie that recently came out based on it was terrible! read the book!

i read The Da Vinci Code only because i've heard people talk about it so darn much. and no wonder! it was great. each chapter leaves you hanging and they're so short that you just HAVE to read the next one, and the next, and the next...

this is the latest, i believe, of Christine Feehan's Dark series. it's pretty much just like all the others, so, if you can't get enough of those and read them all, i'm sure you'll love this one, too.

i LOVE Ann Rice, especially her vampire books. i'd post my The Vampire Lestat, too, if it was in better condition.

This book was ok for me. I like Fantasies and I love Romances so i immediately latched onto this book. However, it's more Fantasy than Romance, which bummed me. It had a couple semi-hot sex scenes and that's about it. I wish they'd developed the female character more. She starts out pretty remote, and stays that way, for the most part. But what made me only "like it" instead of "really like it" where the stupid inserts between the chapters which were supposed to be from all-encompassing, all-knowing dragon voice that is EXTREMELY arrogant. It's always going on about how much more awesome dragons are than pathetic humans. Yeah, dragons are cool, i get it.

I read the first and then this book of the series ansd I don't think I'll read any others. They just weren't for me. I prefer it when the characters don't immediately jump in the sack together (book 1) and don't fall in love early on in the book (book2, well, the female character)
