While it was a good read, it did not hold my attention like other Steve Berry books.

BORING!!! As I was reading this book, I kept thinking "this all seems so familiar". Then as I was watching a rerun of his show in which he was in Mexico, it was like all Andrew did in writing this book was select certain episodes of his show and put them in print in an almost "word for word" manner from each episode. You really didn't learn anything new about him or the places he traveled to. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for this book!

This is a book which should be read every holiday season, year after year, to remind us that there still is hope and good people left in this world!

I liked this book. It was written in the language that Johnny Depp used in the movie!

GREAT book!!! A terrific story of Michael Waltrip's life and that fateful day, February 14th, 2011, that could only be told by Michael, in his own words with his wonderful sense of humor. A "Must Read!"

It was very interesting to learn of each state quarters origin and how the final design and slogan were chosen.

Like the other Anthony Bourdain autobiography style books I've read, this is just like them. The first third of the book is interesting and even exciting at times, but the last two thirds are boring and I've had to struggle to finish reading the book because I found the information boring.

I disagree with the other reviewers. The book did not give you a look at the inner workings of the lottery system. It didn't tell you how a deal was done, what a lottery winner was paid for their annuity money or the formula used to determine it. And they only spoke about 2 lottery winners! It was more of the author's autobiography. Sad I wasted a credit on this book.

I have read every book Augusten Burroughs has written. I felt that "Possible Side Effects" was the worst of his books. It seems like he was desperately trying to find something/anything to write about. It didn't have the demented humor I was used to from his earlier books. Perhaps he is having financial troubles since he had to pay off the psychiatrist's family he lived with in his teens and wrote about in "Running With Scissors" since they sued him claiming a lot of what he wrote about them wasn't true!

It has some humorous moments, but the advice wouldn't work in today's society.

I didn't like this book at all as it strayed from its title, "Roasting in Hell's Kitchen". Of over 270 pages, less than 12 pages were regarding Hell's Kitchen". After reading the entire book, I find Gordon Ramsey to be an egotistical, obnoxious bully and would never eat at one of his restaurant's!

I really enjoyed this book. Ron Woods not only gives you his own autobiography but he tells you of the evolution of many musicians and bands who made rock and roll what it is today. He tales are very explicit, humorous and at times a bit sad. I highly recommend this book to any fan of the early British rock and roll scene!

This book shed's the light on who and what type of person Gene Simmons really is. An obnoxious, arrogant, selfish, male chauvinist pig who is also the luckiest S.O.B. alive since Shannon Tweed continues to put up with his behavior, which as you can see from his television show, really hurts her.

If you're into the history, whether fact or fiction, about the catholic church, this is a good boo to read.
