This is one of Kingsolver's wittiest works. Made me want to read her other novels.

Superb conclusion to the St. Benet's series. Contains graphic content.

I'm writing this review because I can't stand it currently has a two star review. Tana French is unrivaled for her skill at developing a sense of place and delivering a tight, suspenseful narrative. Unlike her other books, French picks up where her last book left off. If you have not read The Searcher you will want to read it before you dive into The Hunter. The story revisits Trey, Cal and their neighbors two years after the events in The Searcher. French's characters are always memorable. Trey and Cal are two of my favorites.

Please note, this book does deal with Lynley and Havers, but with characters introduced in the previous book in the series. I was disappointed, but you may enjoy the read.
